Can anyone tell me the best way to identify the females of the different subspecies? I'm curious because I recently purchased a female just labeled as "jacksons" but have noticed most of the common type seem to have no horn at all where my female has a fairly sizable horn. It's not as large as the photos I have seen of merumontanus, but it is quite obviously a horn.
Also, I was told she was full grown but she seems fairly small and I am not confident in the source's knowledge. I would say she is about 8" nose to tail tip.
Any input would be appreciated!
