Didn’t finish shedding.. problem??

Yeah it’s the reptisun T8 5.0 uvb tube light. And I got a new one 2 weeks ago so it’s good for a while! And ok that’s good to know I didn’t know there was a thing to read the uv level thank you
You’ll need to either get a stronger bulb or fixture. @Beman can help with what you need if you post the distance between your basking branch and fixture. How long is her fixture and cage? I’m noticing fake plants too, which are an absolute no-no for veileds. Could you fill out this form with as much detail as possible and pics of your cage, too?

  • Supplements - What brand and type of calcium and vitamin products are you dusting your feeders with and what is the schedule?

  • Temperature - What temp range have you created (cage floor to basking spot)? Lowest overnight temp? How do you measure these temps?

Please Note:
  1. The more details you provide the better and more accurate help you will receive.
  2. Photos can be very helpful.

For a T8 fixture you have to use a 10.0 bulb for the correct distance to basking. the output on T8 fixtures is much lower. So you need the 10.0 bulb and then basking should be about 7 inches below.
I went to find out the exact fixture I have which is this one. It just is the regular reptisun one. But the linear bulb in it is a t8 5.0 so you’re saying I need the t8 10.0 instead of that one?

Yes and distance to the closest branch below it would be 7 inches.
