Desperate for advice please

It was a reptile store I got him from, am I ok to email you the exact details of the light please

The problem is the uvb is in basking bulb. He went be basking all the time and only way hell get uvb (which should be all the time if nit as much as possible) is to have a long tube uvb which spans the top of the cage, this way if he doesn't want to bask hes still getting uvb benefits

That makes sense thank you. I will sort out his vit am ins tomorrow and get straight on it, I will carry on watching him for a day or two and if there's no signs of improvement I will go to the vets. I will call them tomorrow too. How worried should I be with this tongue thing, I know mbd is very serious but I'm hopefully not gonna find him dead tomorrow am I?

He looks good in the pictures. Do you have an experienced chameleon vet?

Thank you jannb, he's so handsome I'm doing everything possible to care for him.
There is a reptile vet I'm calling very shortly otherwise there's one more that I've been recommended. He looks happy enough this morning.

Marvin's update

I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to all of you who gave me advice when I needed it. You really helped. Marvin has been to see a specialist and although he was looking and acting well he was starting to show signs of weakness from calcium deficiency.
The vet was very happy with my set up, lights and diet but I needed to make sure his food was dusted more after I was given rubbish advice from the pet shop.
After two days I started see great improvements with him and now a week later he is so lively, currently shedding and a bit grumpy from it but is hunting for his food again and exploring his enclosure.

He looks much bigger and seems so much happier.

THANK YOU SO MUCH. This forum is great x
