Design for Kinks new cage

So, I just finished making the crude blue print for Kink's new cage. Now, to get building on it. Oy, this will be fun. the 14 inches on the bottom is the space to slide the cricket keeper in. then a shelf, then the 12 inches is to store his spray bottle, worms, and supplements. then another shelf, then the 9 inches is where I am going to put a tray for the drainage system.
cage will be 24x24x48.

looks like a good start for sure, dont forgert to account for the thinkness of the wood

I like your idea but that's not the best blue print. Usually a great blue print will list board sizes. I know when I made villas cage one board was an 1/8" off and the whole cage was off and I had to take it apart and rebuild. Your on the right track tho. If I find the blue prints my dad made me for different set ups I'll have to post them cuz my dad actually draws blueprints for houses and stuff some of his ideas for cage set ups are amazing.

I literally made it in paint. Lol. I have the basic design I want, then I am letting my hubby actually build it. He can account for board size.

Thatd be really cool. I have to talk to my hubby about what he suggest using to actually build it. hes the good one, so all i have to do is say this is how i want it to look, and this is the space i need, soo go do it. lol
