I have really enjoyed working with this species so far and watching their personalities come out.

Deremensis babies are probably the cutest babies ever, the adults, well, not so much. Damn, is that 2 major faux pas in as many nights? I'll be waiting for the vigilantes at the door tonight!

Trioceros deremensis have got to be one of the top Sail Fin Trioceros species out there. Other contenders that have got to be considered are Trioceros quadricornis spp., montium, cristatus, and melleri.

Your Trioceros deremensis are seriously going for roaches. My Trioceros deremensis never went for larger insect prey species. That is neat behavior to make note of the next time I keep the species.

Best Regards

I've only had the chance to work with 2 wc deremensis but would love to again. My male was a surly pissy little man, but I still liked him in spite of himself. I found them worrisome as they never seemed to eat much. No weight loss, but compared to my other chams they were fussy. I finally stopped worrying about them as they absolutely refused to let me watch them eat. What I loved most about them was their skin....so incredibly light sensitive and reactive! There always seemed to be fleeting paler cloudy patches moving across them. If one happened to sit behind a leaf and then move, there would be a darker shadow of the leaf on their skin for a few moments. Very beautiful creatures and quite secretive, but that suits them.
