DeJango my baby veiled

Hello all. I just received my 2 month old baby veiled 2 days ago, and just wanted to share. I've wanted a chameleon since I was 14 and just now got one at 24, lol. I got him from BocaJan, great to deal with, with very fast responses.
These forums have helped me greatly with all the info I needed to get him setup. He's still adapting, but he is doing great.
Here he is helping me decorate, I entered this one into the photo contest.

I was just wondering if it was normal for him to be a greyish/brown for the first couple of days-week? When he's in his plants he's green, but when he's climbing on his cage, he's kinda of a dark brown. He stays right on the outside of the basking light. Also, he's not eating all that much. I have the crickets on the bottom of the enclosure in a plastic cup about two inches high. Just wondering if this is normal behavior to him adjusting to a new place?

Thanks!

Yes it deff is, especially when hes out and about or in the open..
Mine stayed that way for a while but warmed up to me quite nicel=))

Congratulating on your new baby veiled. Cute photo! I have noticed they seem to go through color changes. If it's warm enough for some outside time he should brighten up outside.

He may not see the crickets at the bottom. I would move the cup up about midway through the cage and attach it there :). He is definitely a cutie:)
