type-Panther Chameleon
age- 4 and a half months
problem- white and yellow feces and slightly sunken eyes.
if anyone could tell me some good ways to rehydrate him apart from the shower method (i thinks he is to young)
I would say mist, mist & mist. I take a sringe and inject water into feeders but most people think that is overkill. To me if it helps that is what I am after. Hey I just take care of my chams. Good luck.
Increase misting times. Use hot water in a sprayer and mist for 5+_ min a few times a day.
That should take care of it. If the urate is mostly white and a little yellow its not bad. He is not severely dehydrated. Orange would be more of a concern.
Pics?
and should I mist him directly becasue I will do that and he will run for it.
A dripper provided all day by filling a cup and poking a small pin hole in it so that a drop slowly drips on a plant in the enclosure would make sure water is available all day.
Is it alright to run a dripper all day?
He shows no interest in getting the shed of of him, its only on one side and its slowly getting better but its still bugging me and I want to help him get it off. Should I go ahead and use an cu-tip to rub it off? Also, what does orange feces mean?
