I will be feeding superworms and crickets until i run out. (1st batch of food i bought)

I decided, I will attemp to feed every other day.

schedule goes like this

Mon
(crickets or superworms)calcium with no D3

Wed
(crickets or superworms) no powder

Fri
(crickets or superworms)calcium with no D3

Sun
(crickets or superworms)calcium WITH D3

fream reading here previously, i know there is no SOLID answer to how to feed. but i think this is a great schedule.

what you guys think?

What type of chameleon and how old?

Its not so much about having a rigid schedule but offering a variety a very well gutloaded feeders.

You said every sunday is Calcium w/ D3, that should only be used twice a month, not every sunday. And if your cham is a jacksons, like your avatar, they need even less.

For my jackson I dust all feeders that have a poor calcium to phosphorus ratio with plain phosphorus and D3 free calcium. These feeders would include roaches, superworms, crickets, meal worms etc. If he is eating silk worms, hornworms, butter worms or snails they are not dusted. I also dust with a multivitamin once a month. And I do not use D3 at all. He gets real sun for at least 6 hours or more per week depending on weather and my schedule and he also has the arcadia T5 HO 6% lighting so I dont see any need for D3 in my case. I dont use it for any of my chameleons.

i keep mine indoors, but would like to post him up on a plant near the screen door on my days off for a little while sometimes. do you recommend no D3 at all??

If not getting any natural sun you can do D3 once a month. You could even use a multivitamin that has D3 in it and give that once a month.

gotcha! well i have reptivite and rep - cal. i also bought gutloading powder and yellow jello looking jar for crickets and worms.
