Man I an so green with envy! You guys get all the great shows. I just found out about another reptile show in Florida that I need to go to. http://www.repticon.com/fire.html

All the animals will be checked by a vet prior to sale. How lucky are you guys to get to buy chameleons that have been checked by Dr. Ivan Alfonso. I so wish I was near him. He is a great help by email & phone but I sure wish my babies could all see him. He is doing fecals for only$10. Everyone have talked up the Daytona show and I am going to that show but i should be going to both & so should you guys. Nice chance to look over the supply before Daytona. I will be waiting to hear what is available before I get down to Daytona.

For those in the area who don't have a affordable, excellent vet hit the show and meet Dr. Alfonso - it is good to know before you need.

Last but not least I NEED PICTURES , that way i might find all my forum buddies in Daytona, last year I missed soom of you.:):D

I'm going. Dr. Alfonso is going to give a "Animal Pro Care Seminar: on Chameleons!!" on Saturday, July 17 1:30 p.m. at the Ramada Celebration Orlando Resort & Convention Center in Kissimmee.

Laurie I feel your pain!!!! Only thing is, at least you get to go to 1 show. I can't go to any :(

I wish I could make an excuse for a family Florida vacation!

I'm glad that Repticon took over this show. I was a vendor at it 2 years ago and it was a fantastic show, but the economy had just started to go downhill then. So the following year (last year), they cancelled the show because too many vendors had to back out due to the economy. Repticon picked it up a few months ago but I am unable to attend this year. I'm sure it will be just as good as it was before.

Well, those folks also have to LIVE in Florida! I know I couldn't do it. I'll take our short cool summers with top highs of 70 F any time. None of that 90 F/90% humidity stuff for me.

actually it has hitten 100+ this past week in some places plus the humidity

Yea Florida is hot but lately it rains in the afternoon so in the evening its perfect to take my Chameleon outside with high humidity and temps in the mid-80s and its about when I get home from work.

I so wish I could go to the Fire expo. If only I needed more for my cham that I got at the Repitcon in May.

It has been hot here your right! Lately it has hit in the 100's in Jax and humiditiy has been high as well. Sometimes I wish for a break and the rainstorms we get just so it will cool down some. The chams love it when it is high humidity and the temps are in the 80's. This is usually in the evenings and the best time to take the chams out and enjoy the weather.

Im debating over whether i should come back to FL after that lol. Its so cool here in London. BUT i have babies so im coming lol

It's worth it just for that...I would do it if I had my own car...I would love to be at the seminar and enjoy the show...I guess I will be waiting until the Jax show! Who will be coming to the Jax show, hope to meet some of you!

$10.00 fecals what a deal!

Some people on here are constantly complaining about not having any good vets nearby or can't afford a vet so here's your chance to get fecals on you reptiles without paying for a vet visit and having the opportunity to talk with and ask questions to one of the best reptile vets, specializing in chameleons, in the US. You will also get to look around at the show, pick up feeders without paying shipping and see some great reptiles.
