Dark colors

Hello this is my first Chamaeleon it is a veiled Chamaeleon and I was just wondering why she gets dark spots. I have read it could mean she is stressed out and sometimes she will start pacing back and forth wondering if she should walk her name is Stella and she is young thanks for the help and support have a good day .

Hi robbie, I have also heard the same from looking through the forum and doing some research that black spots do mean they're stressed out, I only just got my veiled today and I have already noticed that his stripes were going black on the car journey home as this probably stressed him out being in the car and being in all new surroundings. I hope this helps
