Dark Colors

I have a Male Veiled Chameleon who is being treated for MBD. He is eating and climbing just fine, but I have noticed that his color has been rather dark lately. I did just make a move across the country with him, so the new environment may contribute to his new coloring choice.
He is still eating, drinking, and moving around his enclosure just how he should, but the only time he will change into his lighter colors (which I thought were his happy colors) is when he is out of his cage, sleeping, or being sprayed. I thought he was too cold, but he was not a fan of having his enclosure hotter. Is it strange that he has decided to be a darker, army green more than the turquoise he used to be all the time? I have noticed nothing else wrong with him other than this sudden color change. I will be taking him to a vet soon to get a regular check-up, but I just wanted to see if you all had an opinion on this.

Give him some time to settle in after the move. He could just be stressed over it and needs time to adjust to the new surroundings.
