This may be a one-off, but I had no problem with UPS and Thaxter; he was delivered on time, right-side-up, and the delivery guy was very professional.
Saccardo was delivered to me Airborne. It was January in Michigan, and the plan was that they would call me from the airport when he came in, and I would pick him up there, so he wouldn't be in the truck. Nobody at Airborne paid attention to The Plan, or the markings indicating live animal in the box, he was driven around in the back of the truck for goodness knows how long, and reached me a rather chilly lizard (however, he warmed up after a few minutes on my hand under the light and went on to live a perfectly uneventful 2.5 more years - and it wasn't necessarily very bright on my part to order a chameleon in January in Michigan).
