Thank you. After almost a year of having this iPhone 4S, I've finally figured how to get the decent close ups! Get as close as you can while keeping the auto-focus in check, edit the photo by zooming in and then crop! Voila! A decent pic!

I noticed that Fenix was shedding his bottom half earlier this week and it looks to me that his face hasn't shed yet. Come on, boy! Git r dun!

My husband Steve, a professional nature photographer, well I showed him these shots, and he said no matter what was done, macro or crop those are some really awesome shots....great color and clarity and detail....how many pixels are your images?...he said the only thing that would make that better, would be a darker background.....try a black cloth or sheet for a background...I love the colors!

Wow, really? Thanks! When I crop them, they're reduced to 768x1024, whatever that means. Don't know if that helps you with the pixel question. Good idea about the backdrop, but I work with what I have, lol! I'm usually taking these photos outside of my warehouse or in my backyard. I don't pretend to be a professional photographer, but I do like to at least attempt good shots. Thanks again!
