Hi Everyone I have a gorgeous pair of Chamaeleo Trioceros Cristatus CH chams that Ive had from tiny babies they are now a year old so I decided to introduce them to one another it went extremely well with the female lifting her tail straight away & the male getting on her immediately!:) They stayed together for 40mins he was so gentle.:) I tried him back with her 2 days later & it was a totally different story she was going mental at him, so am preety sure she is gravid.:) I have some information about incubation of the eggs but dont know how soon she should lay also the depth of the substrate at the moment It is banked up to approx 10". If anyone can help I would be most gratefull Thanks Heatherx

my female has been gravid in wintertime for about 3,5 months and the 2nd gravid has been in summer for about 2,5 months.

Thanks Patrick for your help sounds like I have a while to wait then!;) Hope yours are well they are such a lovely species!:) Thanks also Kinyonga thats a very helpful link. Heatherx

Hi Drew my female (Rhianna) is only 1 week gravid at the moment, Ive increased the depth of her substrate to 10" at the back where she likes to sit it is nice & dark there have used a mix of sand & cocofibre with a small amount of orchid bark mixed in seems to hold the moisture really well. Im new to cham breeding so a total novice so any help much appreciated:) Your thread is really useful with some good ideas! So glad your female laid ok is she WC Ive had my Rhianna since a tiny baby 2.5" & my male Stumpee so they mean the world to me so hope she will be ok! Thanks so much Heatherx
