How many small crickets should my 6month old veiled chameleon should be eating ? When Can I give him worms.

If im not mistaken, if its a female she should be getting 5-6 bugs a day, if its a male they can have more. This is because feeding the female less in combination with a basking spot at close to 80, keeps her from producing as many infertal clutches.
Also no 1 insect should take up more than 20% of your chams diet. I would strongly suggest a colony of dubai roaches, along with crickets, silk worms, horned worms, and pheonix worms.

Also be sure to check out sandrachamelions blog on gutloading. I use her recipefor dry gutload, and for my wet gutload i use a combination of the safe vegies and fruits. Sandrachamelion also has blogged about the wet gutload.

Put a good amount and count them if there are any crickets left then go from there. More or less
