Crickets

Where do yall keep your crickets, my sister can't stand the sound of them.

I heard cabinets aren't bad as long as it doesnt get too cold

I have mine in a large plastic tupperware tub with clear tape around the top. They can't climb out so no lid required and it stays well ventilated.

I shove mine in a cabinet in the bathroom and then close the bathroom door. If weather is nice I keep them outside. I can't stand the chirping at all either! I would recommend ordering getting younger crickets since they don't get their wings until their adult stage so they're nice and quiet.

Yep get medium crickets or smaller depends on ur cham I learned the hard way,one middle of the night I woke up n killed like 10 went back to sleep n realized I killed 10 innocent ones,then went back killed 6 more. 15 had to pay the price of one noisy one .good luck.

I get 1/2" crickets. They don't chirp at this age! They also live a bit longer

If there's just one chirping half the time I just throw it out the back door!

Besides I wouldn't wanna feed my cham huge ones cuz their legs can puncture the chams lip can't they?

Myth. Their legs get chomped with the rest of them without any problem.

I honestly don't mind the sound. Then again I live in the woods, so I have the sound of crickets,and thousands of frogs in my pond in my backyard. I just keep them on the other end of the house, and they are honestly no louder than the outside critters.

I live in the woods too but oddly not many crickets. We have 19 resident turkeys in our area and three deer no frogs or many crickets

I live in the city, the only crickets around my house are from the once a week shipment of them that I get and dump in my outside cage. At night I sit by our home made pond/waterfall and listen to the nature. All I need is a few frogs and ill be set.

I live in California, where its not too cold year round, so I just dump them in my outside chameleon cage. If I leave them anywhere else the ants get them

Lucky, I live in Wisconsin. It's pretty darn cold all the time lol I'll hide the crickets in a cabinet by the dog food and garbage bags
