Cricket leg caught in her mouth?

About a week ago I was feeding my veiled chameleon (about 8 months old) and the first cricket she ate fine, but then I fed her a second one and when she shot out her tongue it only went out about 2" and she would hiss every time she tried to shoot out her tongue. So my question is "Can they get the spiky legs caught in there tongue somehow?" She hasn't ate in a week and I keep finding her at the bottom of her viv. Does anyone have any suggestions?

It could happen. However, tongue problems are often nutritional. Could you please describe your supplement dusting schedule, what products you use, what you feed your insects, her lighting, etc? The fact that she's not eating and is not acting normally suggests there are other problems going on. Look for the sticky message "how to ask for help" and give us as much information on her care as you can so we can help figure out what's going on.
