So I have had my chameleon for 3 days now, and everyday I feed Dr. Gonzo all 20 or so crickets scamper to the top of the enclosure for a meeting in the corner. They stay there all day and Gonzo only eats the ones unfortunate enough to be caught on the side. So do I leave them up there or knock them down? What to do?

What type of chameleon is it? 20 crickets/day seems to be a bit many, depending upon their size.

Its a veiled and he is about 2.5 months.

What size crickets are you feeding him? 20 crickets/day (adult crickets) is far too many

ive had this situation with afew of my chams, first of all 20 is alittle too many, i would say 15 of the largest crickets that fit between his eyes. When they meet up knock em off i think the cham is intimidated.

Ok so 20 is a bit much i'll cut back. And I will just break up their meeting with my 10" metal tongs. That should teach them. On my supplement schedule do I mix supplements or stick with one. For example: when the w/o d3 and multivit fall on the same day, do I use just multi or dust 2 groups of crix?

I thump them into the nearest foliage, Stella won't eat from "the conference" maybe she's trying to be polite? ;P
