Crestie lay box

I'm preparing a lay box in case my crestie is a girl (looks like it at 30g). I was wondering if I can just use organic soil or if it would be a lot better to use peat moss or something?

Wondering because soil I already have but I'll have to go out to lowes for anything else

I think coco fibre is a good choice. They can ingest it at a lesser risk than moss or soil and it stays nice and moist

I think mine is coco fibre, but since I put an orchid in her viv she prefers to lay in that, which is just organic potting soil. Do you have any males or was she exposed to a male recently? Mine didn't start laying until I put a male in a viv near her.

I provide a plant pot with coco fibre but like trilian my girls prefer to lay in the pots of ivy.LOL Got 3 more babies tonight that makes 9.

I have 7 very busy hatchlings! They are extra work I could do without, but so cute, tempted to let my girl lay a few more, I miss checking the tubs for new faces!

At the moment they are split between two vivs in my kitchen and I chat to them when they wake up in the evening! I really want to sell them but my husband (who isn't the one feeding and cleaning them!) is very attached... Ordered a loupe so I can at least sex them and hopefully sell them, or he's going to have the cost of 7 large Exo Terras taken out of his pocket money!

You might have to build on a kitchen extension to house extra vivs. Funny enough mine are in the kitchen too. I take mine to pet shop and the cash he pays I keep for vets bills.

Not good. mine not much better but they are not there very long.
