does anyone put gekos in there cham cage to take care of extra feeders roaming around?

is there a downside in doing this?

territorial issues... etc....

I would not put another reptile in myself, no need to add any stress or possible stress on your cham but im sure people have done it.

I would still not do it. Like said before it will cause stress to both animals and i dont think they will learn to get along.

I tried housing a tokay with my male veiled. My veiled brutally mutilated the tokay. Poor thing was still alive with his upper jaw ripped off! I had to put it out of it's misery. It was out of the blue too, they had been living together for a week with no issues.

Housing any two different species is a bad idea, period. No matter how long they may have been living together, one day something bad will happen and it will be entirely your fault. Unless you have an enclosure the size of a large room :D, no multiple species. Rarely are chameleons even housed together.
