CRAP!!! What should I do?

Didn't see this coming...

So I have had a Nosy Be female on hold for me with a guy here in town who is getting out of the hobby... She is a beauty! He said he bought from Kammers as a baby... Well I am going to pick her up after work and was wondering who the sire was so I emailed him to ask... he had mentioned the name when I last was at his house and I couldn't remember... He emailed me back and said that He was pretty sure it was from Glorifindel but it has been over a year, and he didn't have any paperwork in front of him...Well as some of you who are familar with Kammer lines may know... Glorifindel was a beautifull Ambanja... Not a Nosy Be... WHAT THE CRAP!!! I emailed him this info asking if he still had any paperwork from the purchase... I am getting a great deal on a full grown female from Kammers for $250... and she is great shape... But I don't know if I should do it if he is unsure of her Sire and Locale... She is a pretty girl... But I would hate to buy a cham from a clean line and cross it thinking I was doing true blue Nosy Be's.

I always planned on getting all the info before the transaction... Just a little bummed I am finding this out now. Boy, am I glad I didn't ship this out to you Juli... I would have felt horrible! I wouldn't mind having an Ambanja, especially since Glorifindel is so Beautifull, But I DO NOT want a mystery girl. I am hoping I can clear this up! I am supposed to pick her up at 6pm and it is 4!

Please! What would You guys Do????

Maybe Kammers would know. Possibly they will remember or keep records. Maybe contact them if the owner is of no help. Good luck. She is a beauty regardless.

SOLVED! Hehe,,,

When all else fails... Just call Ed and Liddy... They can always help! This guy was confused... And had some wishfull thinking... Would have been nice to own one from Glorifindel but he was one of their founding Ambanjas years ago!!! I had Liddy check the records from the sale to this guy... Turns out she is... a 100% True Blue Nosy Be sired by Thranduil and the dam was Ripley.... He purchased her from Kammers in Dec '06... She has never bred, and never laid an infertile clutch...(Deep breath)... Sooooo... Who wants to sell me a Nosy Be Male??? Or if anyone local has a nice Nosy Be Male and wants to start up a project let me know. You can see this girl is ready for some action! I want to keep the line true... So if you do wanna start a project be sure you can back up the lineage.


I am waiting for my other girl to become receptive, then I will also be working on that Nosy Be/Ambilobe Cross clutch with McLovin'...
