Could this be bruising on my boys head?

Yesterday while out of the house we put up a road block sort of, to keep Picasso in the sun room while we were gone...when we came home, he was stuck between the road block and the door facing, could this have caused a bruise like this and if so, what can I do for him....I feel terrible about this......I know I will never block the door way like that again.

Yes, those are bruises mixed with some scrapes. Not a whole lot to do, they will heal on their own. Due to the scrapes, don't be surprised if he sheds only his head once or twice in the next few weeks, it' s part of how they heal their skin.
