Could this be a burn or is it normal?

I have had my Chameleon for almost 2 months and he is probably around 3 months- 4 months old not sure. Anyways, he shed a few days ago and then started looking all dark and brown on his head (around the crown part) and looks really dark on his body and legs. He is acting normal, eating normal, and his feces is normal. He has, however, been sitting as close as he can to the UV lamp though. At first it was the heat lamp but the last few days it has been the UV lamp. I try moving him but he just goes right back.

Is this normal for them to do? Or is it burning him?

At times, like when he is sleeping, he gets real green like he usually does. I just don't want him to be burning himself, since I read they can't feel it when they do. Also, his crown on the left side has looked purplish. Which also makes me think he might have burned himself.

I would appreciate any feedback. Thank You.

Sorry if the pictures aren't very clear, I took them with my phone.
