Could Huey (Panther Chameleon) be gravid?

She is about 10 months old now. I have not paired her with any male so far. Does she look gravid? She looks darker in the second photo because she is camera shy.

IMO she does not look gravid, however at 10 months old she should have a laying bin available. Even without breeding they can start producing eggs as early as 6 months so to be safe offering her a place to lay would be ideal.

I would agree. I have an 8 1/2 month old and she has laid one batch about 2 months ago and I am pretty sure she is gravid again. A sure sign for her is that she stops eating before she lays. This may not be the case for every panther, but it is a sign.

Thanks guys!

I suppose there is no way to control your female from pooping into the laying bin right? Just remove the poop on a daily basis?

That's what I do. You can also tell if they are gravid by looking at their top profile. They will be visibly wide. At least mine is anyway.
