Convince me to get a parson's in Ohio

Well some things have come up and i will have the ability to have more than a tegu.

But im not sure if a parson's can survive a ohio winter. I know i have a hard time with humidity with the tegu (though i think half of it is diet).

So someone convince me one way or another to get a male. Highlights include i love having having the life expectancy, and really really big rear feets.
