Consumption of a Silk Plant- Veiled

I just witnessed my male, veiled chameleon take a leaf off of a silk plant he has in his cage. The leaf was no bigger than a dime, but I am wondering if he will be okay. I took the fake plant out of the cage, and yes, I am already planning on getting him a real, chameleon safe plant.

I'd watch him closely over the next few days to make sure it passes, haven't heard anything about it being bad, but haven't heard it being good either Just keep a close eye on him and as long as he doesn't show signs of distress or have trouble passing it he should be ok.
