i have been doing some reserch about chams and i have decided i am going to buy one, i went out today and baught a cage its a little difrent from the cages everyone is selling online and in pet stores. It has the mesh/cage on the front, and the sides. but the back is glass. it is a nice size but im conserned that the cham will not get enouf airflow and i have limited space soo i was thinking about putting him in the corner of my room in between my fish tank and my dressor... here are some photos let me know what you think. thankshttp://us.mg4.mail.yahoo.com/ya/download?mid=1%5f105167%5fAHWniGIAAKOHS%2f9PdgN1ugHAV%2f4&pid=2&fid=Inbox&inline=1

Couldnt open the picture link
However, from the sounds of it the cage will be fine. You dont need to use a full screen cage. What the enclosure is made of is less important than maintaining the correct environment within it.

Seems fine. Perhaps a bit small for the larger chams, and bare. Add a bushy plant or two and it'll be great.

What are the dimensions? Looks about right for a young chameleon, but too small for an adult panther or veiled.

I'd replace the fake leaves with a real plant, and add a few more branches.

Do you have a basking heat light on there, in addition to a UVB tube?

its 24" tall, 24" wide, and 16" front to back. no i dont have the lights set up yet im putting everything together slowly soo i can learn allot more before i care for one. what kind of plant should i put in there?

You'll want one twice as tall, if you are going to house an adult panther or veiled.

Ditto what Pssh said re plants
