If he has Ambanja in him he may turn out with a fair amount of blue, it depends what type of Ambanja makes up the 50%. Also, do you know for certain that the Ambilobe in him was a red bar? Because Ambilobes come in both blue and red bar, and can have offspring of both types, and even individuals can change from blue bar to red as they mature.
He's still really young and he may be totally different in another 2-3 months. So just be patient, it's realy difficult to say where he'll end up especially because he's a cross. He has that many more variables that could change between now and 1.5 years of age.
He is a total cutie though, I have to say. The boy in my avatar is an Amabanja cross that I adore, so I'm partial to blue panthers.
