CHAMELEON SETUP.jpg I posted a while back after i had just finished the cage, and was very interested in the ambanjas but i decided to go with one of Reptomans ambilobe males instead and am hoping to pick him up this weekend since we are practically neighbors. I added on the bottom part, so i can put a drainage tray underneath that i build out of plexiglass and wood which will be my final addition along with just fastening the wood i have for the chameleon to perch on. got the dripper and mister combo for now, but hope to be upgrading to a mist king shortly. have the UV 5.0 hood, the 50 watt spotlight bulb that makes the place where i am going to be placing the basking spot exactly 85 degrees. going to have a total of about 6-8 pieces of wood for him to move about on throughout his cage. have the cricket feeder, and the cricket food. I am going to get the size of cricket being fed a coupes days before so i can gut load them for when he gets home. and i'm just going to but a calcium with d3 and plain calcium powder when i pick up the crickets from the pet store (d3 2-3 times a month, plain calcium 3-4 times a week. correct that if its wrong please) i have a small deli cup that a opaque green to attach for cup feeding. Plant and sticks have been sanitized along with new organic potting soil for the plant. also have a timer for the lights.

If there is anything else you can think of that i need please let me know. this is the full adult setup by the way. I'm going to partition the cage and hang a small pothos from the top while the chameleon is younger and remove the partition when i feel he is large enough to not get lost in search for food and water.

thank everyone on the site for all the help, and very open to criticisms, want the new chameleon to be as happy as possible.
