Comfort a dying chameleon

How do you comfort a dying chameleon? My baby isn’t going to make it and lost all her strength as well as had a fall, I think the reptile store sold me a very sick chameleon and I was too late to catch it. I am very saddened so I just want to make her passing comfortable. She won’t open her eyes and only does for 2 seconds, she can’t grip and seems to have no mobility to the bottom half of her body. So I know it’s too late.

Just leave her alone, chams aren't social lizards, and having something they perceive as a predator isn't comforting them in the slightest.

I made a little bin with towels at the bottom and a little bit of leaves and set her there is that okay?

I really don't know, just that less is more, let her/him be alone in familiar surroundings for its final moments.

Maybe just place her in one of the plant pots in her enclosure.

yes I’ve set her in a hospital bin a few hours ago, I didn’t handle her, she fell and I picked her up and quickly setup a bin with towels and leaves and laid her in there.
