Hi, I've gotten the impression that chameleons get more colourful as they grow older, is that right? Neelix is a 4 month old veiled and at the moment he's a lovely array of greens but no yellow or blue in him. Will he get more colours?
Thanks!

If you ever want to breed, that handsome devil is a dad to 38 eggs.
:D

Nice one! Breeding would be fun, but I'd be scared of doing things wrong lol

Just a quick questions- he's currently gone darkest green and is stalking around his cage. I thought this meant they're stressed? Or is he just hunting? I turned his basking temp up to 80 this afternoon & I've never seen him so active!

well hes dark green cuz hes cold!!

his basking temp should be at least 83-86.

oops, I had him cooler than 80 until today! I got myself confused (there's another thread I started on the matter yesterday, where I was given a range of temperatures.) Is it bad to up the temp suddenly or will he just be relieved to be toasty again? thanks :)

Done, & I moved his thermometer to his basking spot, so I can see it now, because the thermostat sensor is placed further down the cage and I realised that wasn't giving me the info I needed.
