Stickers only shows her greens and blues and yellows she she is out sunning or in the cage when no one is looking and she is really pretty when she sleeps. But as soon as some one walks in to check on her she deflates and turns brown. I know she is scared and the times that i handle her is usually to give her a shot or oral meds so i guess i would be scared of me too. but i am trying to figure out what her colors mean. I know each Veiled is different but is there happy colors or angry? what does it meen when she puffs up? or when she deflates?

a lot of the time she is a dark green ( looks almost brown) and you can see darker green dots and lines, looks like felt tip pin used to color on her ( looks pretty)

Hello, I'm learning too so I may have my facts wrong, but I believe that:

Lime/neon green - excited or whilst they sleep
Solid "forest" green - happy
Dark with spots &/or patterns - stress or anger

They also go dark whilst they bask to absorb more heat. She will probably puff up as well to increase her surface area & warm up more quickly.

I know chams puff up as a sign of aggression too. Makes them look bigger & "scarier".

When she deflates does she hold close to her branch/vine? This can be a sign of stress.

Dark colors are generally not good. I would think she would be dark while basking (attracts more heat)... My guy did this the first week or two, too. Dark green is usually not super good. Now, when he's happy, my guy turns pastel bright green and turquoise, sometimes with yellow. I've seen him turn many different colors though...

They inflate to seem bigger, which intimidates predators in the wild. My guy does this when he basks in the morning, probably to get more sun as blackened said. I don't really know what deflating means...
