coloring question

so i have only had my cham since november. but so far the only colors i have seen her change were like a spotted striped different shades of green and then she turns a dark grey almost black. just wondering if and or when she will change other colors?

What kind of Cham do you have? Most females aren't going to be as colorful as males. Female Panthers will usually be pinkish orange, and Veiled's can have orange and turquoise spots, if they're high yellow sometimes you can see their yellow.

If you have a veiled, at around 6-7 months you'll start seeing her mature female colors. So she'll get the mustard yellow and aqua spots and stripes.

If your talking about the cham in your avatar picture, she will eventually get green/yellow/orangeish spots on her. but shes still got alot of growing and maturing to do.
You wont see the yellow bands like on male veileds though.

another question would be have you guys ever used thr vibrating feeding dish? like i had said before i live in a really small town and the local petstore only sells crickets and mealworms live. everthing else is in a can, and ive only gotten my cham to eat when its moving. just wondering if anyone else has an input on if they work right or not, or if i should even be looking at them?

Hahah, i found the vibrating cham dish on amazon. i think its awesome, and i want to get it for worms that dont move as much.
just dont feed that canned stuff.
if you need more bugs, buy online.

whats wrong with the canned stuff?

1- chams eat live bugs, not dead ones,
2- while it says gutloaded, who knows what they were gutloaded with.
3- they lost alot of nutrients and stuff when they are dead like that.
4- that gel crap thts on it cant be good for them.

my list goes on.

alright cool thanks alot. i was just looking the other day and those were the thought in the back of my head, but i jst wanted to make sure and get another opinion

no problem.
if you want more bugs, but dont have a local shop that sells them,
you can order from mulberryfarms. com online

i get hornworms, superworms, waxworms, and pheonix worms from them.

thanks for that, it helped a bit, especially about the egg laying. but a couple more questions about the egg laying. how else do you know they are caring eggs other then weighing them like everyday.

i just always wondered what was used to kill them if they appear to be un damaged

sometimes they change colors, to gravid colors. though not always or only for a bit and then back to normal.

some will stop eating, become restless, grumpy, hang on the floor alot.
