My chameleon seems to be a light Tan but. With very little show of grey/black bars. He is 2.5 months old and is a panther. HE IS eating and drinking but I don't know if a light tan colour is a signal of stress. When someone approaches him he seems to darker inorder to blend in with the vines and leaves. What are the colors of a stressed male ambilobe panther and what are his good mood signs. He only turns green and dark when I take him out to clean cage. Thank s for all feedback

Stressed= black
Happy=bright
Absorbing heat=dark
White=cold, sick, bad
your cham is a little young and most panthers are those colors when they are young its nothing to worry yourself about... He won't "blend" as chams don't do that... If he's getting dark when approached he is stressing a bit

I'm sure it's more of a gray or tan but if it IS that white what are your temps? When I say white Its more like a color drain, as if a person had all the blood ripped out of them...

They could give him some sort of nasty sickness i'm pretty sure. You know like if you were to eat some wicked moldy 4 month old buffalo wings or something. I spot clean all my cages daily to avoid any dead crickets its always better to be safe than sorry.
