Hi members... I have a kenya jackson cham and today i took him out to put a plant in his cage hes usually light green but when i put him back in with the new plant he went almost solid black maybe not all the way.......oh and is it bad if i feed him like30mins before lights go out

it would be best not to feed at night like that. If you feed during the day like in the morning then you chameleon has the whole day to bask and digest its food.

chams tend to stress out a bit when you change there habitat he will be fine give him a few days to adjust to the new plant thats why he was dark (stressed a bit) and yes it is best to feed them in the morning as suggested by carol hope we helped.

you could feed him everyday about 8-10 feeders. Alot of people cut back after they turn about a year and feed like every other day. I feed my guys every other about 6 or 7 feeders but they are 4 yrs old and 2 1/2 yrs old.

10-15 crickets a day some veggies here and there and a worm or two here and there as a treat.
In a few months once he reaches adult hood fully same regiment every other day

By worms I mean silk worms wax worms butter worms calci worms horn worm thinks like that. Roaches very good to
