Color at night question...

Hi, lately I have been noticing at night my 1 year old veiled has a bright colorful body like normal, but around his eyes and "eyebrow" and half way up his casque its just a little darker than normal.

Any suggestions as to why?

veileds get dark black/brown/ grey casques as they grow older.

its very normal.

It means there having a very good sleep.

I don't mean to question you Bubby, but what makes you say that? I was under the impression that something might be wrong seeing as darker colors usually are a sign of stress or something.

Yeah, my chameleon is also a very bright green when he is asleep. I have noticed on his face and casque that he gets a dark brown on it, and I'm not sure why. He is about four months old now. (I think).

If there body is very colorful that means there having a good sleep. I don't know about the brownish or darkish spots.
