my room sometime get cold at night.does that mean that i shout get it a red bulb and can they sleep with it?

How cold does it get? What species have you got? Red bulb is not good, Chams will usually have problems sleeping. How big is the viv? A big heat pad would take the edge off a slight chill.

well you need to get a thermometer and found out the temp...

If you mean 65 is as low as it goes at night then you don't have to worry at all. This is the lowest it should be though.

Panthers can easily take temps down into the low 50's. There are people who keep their chams outside with those temps at night and it does not harm them at all. Their natural habitat in Madagascar easily gets that cold at night during certain months of the year.

Thanks Carol - it was partly because I keep veiled and didn't know panthers could take so much lower, and partly because he was just estimating so I wanted to leave some leeway.

Ya you should be good. I know your not getting a veiled right now but in their habbitat in yemen/saudi arabia it will sometimes frost and they don't have a problem with that
