Having roaches in capativty will make you feel differently. I used to raise them, but they multiply like rabbits and with other things to care for, 8 different species of roaches was to much for me. I always felt bad when they ran for the food, stupid me, thats all roaches want!lol

So...last night my boo and I watched this video and got pretty freaked out about the cockroaches crawling in ears part. 10 minutes later, my boo finds an escaped Surinam near his nightstand and started a frantic search for it. Of course we didn't.

While not very cute at all, I do love the common name for this guy, ischnoptera deropeltformis, aka sexy legs roach.
I see nothing sexy about those little icky legs though.
