Are clover mites harmful to chameleons?

I found 1 crawling on my chams face

I ended up with a few in my cage from sticks I had brought in that I had not washed first. They all ended up dying off. I think if it is a clover mite it just happened to be crawling on the cham. When I did my initial search I found no indication that they are harmful to living things. Just plants, branches, and they like mulch.
