If so I believe the 22 inch bulb would work for it. Looks like they run their fixture sizing a bit smaller than others. Or you can just buy a proT5 by arcadia and return the fixture/bulb you got depending on where you purchased it from. At least with the ProT5 this is tried and true within the hobby. Ok let me give you their fancy new products too. lol. So you could go regular on off lighting. or their new lumenize product you can do more nature dusk and dawn slow lights on and slow lights off. Like a dimmer on a light except it is all done on an app on your phone. Prices for lumenize are higher but if I was just buying my lighting I would want to know about this option. So I thought you might lol.

also i figured out which plants i have but im not too sure if they’re safe or not (other than the gardenia jasmine i looked that one up and it’s safe!). I have 1 african/english ivy, 1 ficus tree, 1 prayerplant, and 1 umbrella plant. i ordered these off of LLLreptile and it said they were animal safe so im hoping thats true lol

also this video is about 2 weeks old but i heard him making this weird squeaking noise, not sure if he’s done it more than once but i’ve only ever heard it once and im not sure if this raises a red flag :(

Were you hearing it at other times or only when you disturbed baby while sleeping? Are you seeing any signs of labored breathing or pointing the nose straight up taking big breaths? Have you taken this baby into a chameleon knowledgeable vet yet?

Something is going on with the eye too. Have you been able to take your little one to the vet?

i haven’t gotten the chance too, all of this is still new to me so i came on here to ask. I was worried about the breathing, but as far as the eye goes he does this thing where it looks like he inflates and deflates his eyes. i searched it up and it showed a video of a chameleon doing the same thing just claiming it’s a cleaning meathod? but im not too sure

nope no signs of any labored breathing or anything else that i’ve seen. this video is the only time ive ever seen him do it which is why i took the video, i was scared and wasn’t sure

Makes sense. I know @Beman has been giving you some advice. You are in great hands with her.

If you are worried about baby’s breathing and you have the ability to go to a reputable vet with chameleon care experience it can’t hurt. Worst case you leave th appointment with confirmation that nothing is wrong.

I’m hoping to get him in asap! I’ve only ever seen this once so i just figured i’d ask, i know chameleons are very prone to respiratory infections so that was my first thought but im hoping im wrong
