Update...just got back from dr.greek he said it was an eye infection and it looks irritated he gave me eye drops for her and flushed out her eye..he told me her health is over all good also...

Glad you got her to Dr Greek without delay, since it is infected.

I'd still be sure to do a careful look over of her enclosure to be sure there isn't a hidden source of bacteria, such as a pool of stagnant water around a plant or something missed during cage cleaning, just to be on the safe side.

Hope she heals up in a jiffy!

Feel free to message me to grab my attention! I have a lot going on right now (8 months pregnant, my dog having to restart chemo, etc) so I'm not surfing the forums as much as I'd like but am always happy to chime in.

As you've found out (Dr. Greek is great) that appears to be an eye infection. A cataract would be inside the eyeball rather than on top like that. Nice pictures btw. Usually that is discharge built up from the irritated conjunctiva and does not affect structures within the eye. Keep us posted on her progress but you're on the right track now.

I pulled everything out of her cage the day after i noticed her eye like that...it freaked me out... scrubbed and washed down everything...

Excellent!
She may have accidentally scratched it or a piece of shed skin or grit got into her eye, rather than bacteria being the initial cause.
It's nice to know that you take such great care of your cham.

yup...thanks.i usually clean the bottom of the cage but this time that I saw her eye like that I took everything out...[emoji40][emoji40][emoji40]..I just hope it gets better...
