Cleaning enclosures

I often read about everyone cleaning their chameleon cages. I wondered if anyone might answer a few questions?

1) My pygmy and jackson's are each in their own terrarium. What is the process for cleaning properly?

2) How often should I be cleaning?

3) I have a large sow bug cleaning crew. I never find much waste because they seem to take care of it. So, would that change how often and how the cage should be cleaned?

4) Any suggestions on cleaning that I have not covered is most appreciated.

Hm well I can't really answer the sow bugs question but...

1) Just thoroughly clean anything that accumulates bacteria with 1 part bleach 9 parts water (wash off very good). Wipe out urate/feces that is in places like plants, vines, etc.

2) Clean thoroughly a few times a month, or earlier if necessary

What do you mean by 1 part bleach, 9 parts water? How do you measure that?

I mean mix a formula with 10% bleach, 90% water. I just guesstimate.

No prob! Make sure you wash off the bleach water with regular water really good when you're done.
