Clean the eggs before incubating?

Do people normally clean the eggs before they place them in the vermiculite or perlite for incubating? If so what would you use, or is it ok just to dig them up and place them straight onto the incubation medium?

I don't know of many people cleaning off the eggs. They will be fine keeping it on, if you want to "clean" them, gently try to brush of some of the soil or said with your finger. But like I said, I don't think many people do it

Never

You never want to clean eggs off. Just put them on the medium.
