claws missing

Nope.

He is not pulling them out from getting stuck on the cage. Most of the time its shedding problems. Happens all the time with herps with "dragon" in their name. Still i have had a few with missing nails, or a twisted toe or 2.

Their is alot of theories on why they lose toenails, here is my take.

Imports have missing toe nails, and they are not walking on repibreezes.
I have had chams since veileds cost more than parsons. I have never used window screen in a cage till 5 years ago when i bought my first reptabreeze xl. I have had cases of missing toenails for 20 years.

Yes some times the nail gets caught on branches and pulled out, and yes it might get caught on the screen. But most of the time its caused by the nail falling out due to lack of blood flow. Blood flow can be restricted due to a bad shed. It can also be a case of infection from always having wet toes.
