I have a Flukers clamp lamp fixture (8.5 inches) with the Dimmer function, that uses a halogen heat bulb (zoo med 75W i believe). I was wondering if I can hook it up to a thermostat (w/ probe). Would it still work fine? Or would i have any issues?
The reason i ask is because i see a lot of posts and talk about using a thermostat with ceramic heat emmiters but don't see too much info if a thermostat will be compatible with a basking lamp fixture.
Also, if its possible, then what brand of thermostat would be a good option to go for?
