Claddind the sides of a screen cage?

Hi here in the Uk alot of people will cover the back and two sides of the screen cage to help humidity etc,

People use plastic sheets cut to size, which serves it purpose but looks a bit bland, today i saw somebody who used bamboo screeningsame stuff to clad fencing, to clad the sides it looked very nice, more natural looking than sheets of plastic,

Im thinking of doing mine, has anybody done this,?

I think i remember the thread with the bamboo before. I think its was a really cool idea and if you want i say go for it. Just make sure to monitor your humidity levels to make sure they are where they should be. See what works for you Doesn't hurt to try

Thanks yeah i think i may try it, it looked very nice indeed, and surely more natural looking for the chameleon than white plastic sheeting,i may just add that instead of plastic or go over the top of the plastic, i will check my humidty out see what works,

Plus i have been looking many different types are sold, some are more close knit so less gaps which would be better i think,

For definate,i will prob do it within the next two weeks on all my cages will get some up.

Someone on this group recently built a custom cage for her melleri and used bamboo (type?) window shades. Do a search and see if you can find it. I'm sure it was in the last month. There were pictures, and the enclosure looked fantastic!! If I happen upon it I will post it to this thread.
