christmas break build help.

Over the christmas break where I can finally get away from school work I'm going to take care of some annoyances and things I want to expand on for big red's cage.

I am looking into creating a timed rain system, as opposed to a a misting system. my reasoning for this is the fact that my chameleon HATES being misted. this will allow for an automatic dripper essentially, and will help with humidity and hydration throughout the day for days when im gone at school all day.

I want to develop something with an outcome like this:
<object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/Xain5VhFujw?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/Xain5VhFujw?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>

Ive looked into the bubble wands and they seem to clog very easy, and I just don't like the way that they spray constant water rather than drips.

if anyone has any knowledge as to what kind of tubing that is in the video or something that I can use to build a system please let me know!

its 1/4" soaker hose. you can get it at OSH, its with all the mini irrigation stuff....I have a bunch of it.

Not to mention it is much more natural than being blasted with mist;) Ive never had the urge for a mist system because of this. I think something like the video is much more natural and obviously efficient.

Here are a few places for irrigation supplies.

I like this because you can put the emitters any place you want on the hose instead of a lot of drip tubing that is usually every foot.

Beware of Home Depot and Lowes junk. It might be good enough to use with a drip system as such but the sprinkler heads, valves, controllers, etc are junk. I installed sprinkler systems for around 7 years in the D.C. area. Trust me on this;)
