make sure eyes are not sunken. make sure all nails are in the feet and they look healthy. look inside the mouth and make sure everything looks pretty healthy, you'll seel some kinda redness or infection if not. and overall skin, just make sure it doesn't look dry.

you'll also want to buy from someone who doens't stack the cages up with chams, some people will put 40 jacksons in one cage
 
Your best bet is buying a CB one from a reputable breeder. They usually cost more, but they'll be in better health and you'll know who the parents are.
