chicken mash

Is it ok to feed my crickets with chicken mash? Is there anything else that I can feed them beside veggie .Also Bran.

I would not use chicken mash.
It contains animal proteins and fats, often growth hormones, and usually a lot of corn.

Fruits, veggies, seeds and such are the best gutloads.

I keep quail, and I can't find any chick food that is'nt medicated or laced with hormones for birds. Just say no, to the (high calcium) lay mash. Too much artificial stuff going on in this feed.
