Chiche won't eat?

Update: she is still not eating. I've tried my mom sister and brother feeding her too, it didn't work. There are crickets running around her cage and she doesn't eat them and I can't catch them without breaking the stick setup. I tried feeding her random bugs from my yard (not to actually feed her them just to see if she would) and she won't go for anything. I'm getting really worried. Help?
 
As earlier requested multiple times, please fill out the how to ask for help document. Perhaps there is something we would be able to pick out like we've been able to in the past for you.

I would not worry that much if there is food readily available she will not starve to death but JaniP is right if you give us all your info from How to ask for help and some good pics perhaps the community could help you better figure this out.
 
My chameleon is a female veiled of the age 6-8 months. I have had her for 3 of those months (since Black Friday 2015.)
I handle her every day, though when she is reluctant I let her bask or walk around in peace (about every other day)
I fed her 5-7 large crickets each day in the morning. (Before she stopped eating.) I put fresh veggies and fruits in the cricket cage (gut load) and I use the standard calcium spray.
I have 2 minute cycles at 9,11,1,2,3,4,5, and 6. I don't see her drink but the leaves have been butchered and I've seen her chomping down on leaves.
Nothing irregular with feces, about the size of a fingernail. Color is dark brown and urate is white sometimes slightly yellow but not often.
Not been tested for parasites
Came from petsmart (not my choice my mom surprised me with her.)
CAGE
Aluminum mesh 48"x24"x21"
Heat bulb 120 Watt (every other ten minutes with exception of thirty minutes long basking period.)
UVB 60 Watt all day from when I wake up to 7-9 PM
Temperature usually around 70-80 but recently been lower 60s. Possible cause of eating decline? Gets as low as 55 and as high as 87. Measured by petsmart thermometer.
Humidity levels 50-65% with few exceptions. The misting system and the four Pothos plant creates the humidity. Measured by PETCO hygrometer.
Cage located in back right corner by windows.
Located in Dallas area of Texas.
My girl stopped eating a few weeks ago and I don't know what to do.
 
Is the lower 60's a night or day temp? I remember some members chatting with you about the low temps not long ago. Did you rectify since then?

If low 60s is a day time temp that is too low and could absolutely contribute to her eating, or lack of.
 
The yellow splotches are an indication of sexually maturity (=she's old enough to produce eggs). So...since she's mature its IMPORTANT THAT THE CONTAINER FOR HER TO LAY EGGS IN BE IN THE CAGE AT ALL TIMES.

If your cage temperature. Is 60 F its slowing her digestion unless she sits in the basking area all the time...assuming you have a basking Area for her. The basking area should be in he low to mid 80'sF and the rest of the cage in the mid to high 70'sF . You can use a regular household incandescent light bulb for a basking light.
SO IF SHE IS TOO COOL ALL THE TIME SHE LIKELY WON'T BE HUNGRY. HOWEVER IF SHE IS GRAVID THAT Could ALSO BE A REASON FOR HER NOT TO EAT IF SHE IS CLOSE TO LAYING.

Also...i would move the cage away from the windows...the draft can give her a chill and lead to respiratory issues.
 
what do you mean by the times you listed for your basking bulb? Is it on constantly 12 hours a day? Also that is a wild fluctuation in temps from 55 to 87 ambient. Your Cham is trying to adjust to a 30 degree swing in temps?

The window is closed and a curtain is in front of it. It isn't directly by the window, it's about 3 feet away. Also how should I raise the temp? I've tried the heat bulb more but that lowers humidity. IAKRNOFJWJDIRNDJW

We can't help you with your mother. We warned you about needing them on your side about lizard care before you got the chameleon.

I sincerely doubt that the heat bulb is lowering the humidity too much. All of us run heat for the entire day. Run it more and raise your temps. I know that you do have your lay box ready, so that is good. But having humidity and a lay box ready is worthless without proper heat. You need all of them to be spot on for her to be healthy.

We've told you countless times that you need to start taking our advice otherwise you would be posting a "help, my chameleon wont eat" thread in short order...oh wait...

I distanced myself from your threads for a very long time out of sheer frustration and saw that little Chiche looks good, and I'd like you to keep suceeding for the sake of the animal so please read the care sheet again because you need to get basics like heat correct.
 
If your house it cooler it might have been better for you to get a Montane Chameleon like a Rudis (Trioceros sternfeldi) or Jacksons if you did all your Homework before hand (like read all the caresheets) you may have had a easier time and healthier animal.

55 very coldest in the middle of winter. 85 when I left the basking bulb on all day. Currently temps are usually 60-70.

A basking site should be available all day so your chameleon can regulate its own temp. I'd assume this has a lot to do with the issues you're having. As said before, read the care sheets again and mimic them closely. I do and every one of my chams is in perfect health.

You will notice that the daytime temperature LOW is 25C or approx 78F.

Since your mother says she doesn't think the temperatures need to be adjusted, perhaps you should direct your mother to this site???

I have, several times. Unfortunately she is just as stubborn as I. She is insistent that chameleons don't have to lay eggs if you lower the temps and feeding. I've told her that atleast 500 of you guys agree with me that this is not true and some of you have had chameleons for over 25 years. She responds with how 11 sites said it was possible and they were all doctors. I responded that they're idiots and that you have personal experience and 500 far outnumbers 11. She is persistent. I ignore her. On another note, Chiche now refuses to let me touch her or anything within 2 feet of her (she hisses and puffs up like I poked her with a stick or something also no I have never done this if you were wondering.) of course I would consider a montane species next. Jackson's have always been exciting to me so I might try there, but not for another 6 months minimum. I might try for Christmas this time (my ideal last time but my mom surprised me on Black Friday)
Anyway, yeah I'll try to find a way to raise the heat bulb slightly so she doesn't get burned, as she is only about 4 or 5 inches away.
